I was wondering if anybody here has ever tried feeding Nori to their pl*cos, I bought some the other day at smiths thinking that since it is just roasted seaweed that it might be something that pl*cos would love, and it is pretty nutritious. Any thoughts anybody?

I say feed it to them. The SW guys feed Nori to their tangs all the time. The pl*cos I'm sure will love it. When I had lots of pl*cos I would feed them all kinds of veggies and they loved them.

I've given nori to my bristlenoses, they nibble on it a bit, but the red cherry shrimp they share tanks with really go nuts over it, so it's not wasted, at any rate.

My BN pl*cos really seem to like romaine lettuce the best, I just sink a leaf and after about a day of "softening" they really go to town on it. They seem to like the nori as well, but not near as much as the guppies do.

For babies, I try to keep some green food in there 24/7, although you really have to keep up with the water changes. For adults, I feed veggies perhaps 3-5 times per week. Canned and/or frozen green beans, (split) zucchini slices, cucumber slices, small slices of pumpkin or winter squash, shelled forzen or fresh peas, snow pea pods (split) are all devoured with gusto.
