NACU is proud to introduce our new Planted Aquarium Starter Setup, or PASS for short.

This is a complete kit with everything you need to start up a thriving planted aquarium focused on looking good. The Beginner PASS is complete with:

10 gallon rimless tank
ADA Amazonia substrate
40 Watt Current Satellite fixture with dual daylight bulb
50 watt mini heater
Zoo Med 501 canister filter
CO2 reactor and glass diffuser

PASS is designed to keep things simple for you. We've used all these products, and have found that these are the best products out there for a basic planted aquarium. A PASS lets you focus just on the plants without all the hassle of researching the best stuff and then buying it from six different places.

We've also spent allot of time price searching, and after hours of research have found that the absolute cheapest you can buy all this stuff for is over $200(plus shipping). So, that's what we're selling our Beginner PASS for - $200.

All proceeds from PASS sales go directly into NACU and get spent on members, we're not making very much money on this at all! (it's more of a service to people who are interested in plants)

The whole thing setup:

Our DIY yeast system (even comes with instructions and champagne yeast):

Remember, this has everything you need for only $200. Cool

For the first person that buys a PASS I'll give you a one year membership to Aquatic Gardeners Association and a NACU Fert Kit

Wish I had 200 to spare right now! That does sound like a good deal.

It's a very nice deal, and I'm glad that the NACU made it available. This is still one of my favorite tanks that I have setup at home right now. I love it, and I highly recomend it to anyone wanting to start out with plants, wanting a good deal with pretty much everything you need to grow healthy plants. Cool

Is it just a standard 10 gal with the rim removed, or did it come rimless?

We remove the rim. The real deal comes when you don't have to buy everything from ten different sources and pay shipping for every piece.

this is the truth, when I was looking to setup my first planted tank I went through and priced everything out, and lets just say that the NACU's PASS is probably the best deal you are going to find out there.

oh i believe it, the light alone is probably....what at least $130 itself. then 30 for just one bag of soil. and another 40 for the filter. thats $200 already. and thats not eve including shipping.

We still have one PASS available. This will be the last one we will sell at this price, as inflation has made it more expensive than what we're selling it at! Pick it up before we part it out!
